I build startups. For fame and fortune. I’m currently working on incubating my own web properties (whatever that means) at Zerosum Labs. Previously, I was co-founder of Mogoterra, a developer tool company which was part of TechStars Boston in 2010. I specialize in all things Ruby and Ruby on Rails. I’m also pretty handy with JavaScript, and I do design, product development, and some bizdev stuffs too. I pretty much learn whatever I need to learn to get the job done.
I live in Portsmouth NH, about an hour north of Boston in the US. I’m married to a cute redheaded girl (well, sometimes she’s a brunette). I like indie rock, indie films, indie comic books, Apple computers and all things UN*X. I have a dog. He’s Welsh.
I believe in free beer, free software, and a free Internet. I contribute to various open source projects, I’ve taught classes and spoken at startup and tech-oriented events, and co-wrote a book about Rails plugins. I created the Rails Rumble innovation competition / hackathon too. I am not, however, a snappy dresser.
